The new Crossfit Rower’s power lunch

A year ago I never thought I’d be posting this.  Today is a day of leg-killing workouts at Crossfit Ignite (deadlifts, air squats, power cleans, and running) and at Crossfit Endurance (12 x 60 secs on, 30 secs rest).  What is my power lunch?  A big bowl of pasta?  Rice and beans?  Pancakes and eggs?  No:  a tin of sardines, kale leaves picked raw from the plant, and a smoothie of coconut milk, raspberries, banana, and fish oil.   This will be my fuel, and I will be able to crush the WODs.  This is not typical rowing performance fare, but it’s a new world, I’m feeling strong, and I’m all in.
